Medigap (Medicare Supplement) Enrollment Dates

​It’s recommended to buy a Medigap policy during the 7-month Medigap Initial Enrollment Period, because during this time, any Medigap policy sold in state can be purchased, even with health problems. This period automatically starts 3 months prior to 65th birthday month and ends 3 months after. Medigap policies can be added or changed at any time after that time but will require medical underwriting.
